About

The Concentus Consort is a London, Ontario–based choir dedicated to the performance of sacred music of exceptional beauty and depth. Much of the rich sacred choral repertoire remains rarely heard, even in churches and cathedrals, due to the significant rehearsal time and resources required for its preparation.

Professional ensembles, too, often avoid liturgical works, in part because they are not typically regarded as large-scale concert spectacles. Yet these works represent some of the most profound and enduring music ever written.

Concentus Consort exists to bridge this gap. Our mission is to bring audiences in our community meaningful performances of sacred music, both historical and contemporary, and to make this extraordinary repertoire accessible once again through thoughtful, dedicated performance.

The Concentus Consort was founded by Braylon Belanger in January 2026. The ensemble of seventeen dedicated singers presented its inaugural concert in April of the same year. Through its commitment to artistic excellence and the performance of sacred choral music, the choir continues to establish itself as a distinctive presence in London's musical community.
