Biography
Eden Volpe-Rule is a Franco-Canadian soprano currently completing her BMus in Voice Performance at Western University under the tutelage of Torin Chiles and Marianna Chibotar-Rutkevich. Eden’s performance credits include the role of Chava in Fiddler on the Roof and Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte. With Opera at Western, she sang in the chorus for Die Fledermaus (2024) and Die Zauberflöte (2025); covered the role of Pamina; and performed as an Opera Gala soloist (2026). In the summer of 2025, Eden attended the
Academie du Domaine Forget de Charlevoix, which strengthened her passion for French music. Last winter, she had the pleasure to sing the Soprano solo in Handel’s Messiah with the Menno Singers for their “Sing Along Messiah” concert. This year, she is excited to perform the role of Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and to be featured again as an Opera
Gala soloist, both with Opera at Western. She looks forward to a wonderful season as part of the Concentus Consort!
When she is not singing or studying, Eden can be found video-calling her cat, Kiska; or juggling between the five (or more) books in her to-be-read pile.
